Devil May Cry Episode 2 LINK

The anime was originally announced at the Tokyo Game Show on September 22, 2006, with plans to release twelve episodes of the series.[1] Unlike most anime, the episode titles were released in English instead of the customary Japanese.[2] The first episode aired on June 14, 2007, with the twelfth shown on September 6, 2007.[3] The episodes aired on WOWOW.[3] On June 30, 2007, at Anime Expo 07, it was announced that ADV Films had licensed the show. However, in 2008, it became one of more than 30 titles that were transferred to Funimation.[4] The series made its North American television debut on the Funimation Channel in September 2010[5][6][7][8] and it began airing on Chiller's Anime Wednesdays block on July 15, 2015.[9]

Two pieces of theme music are used for the episodes, one opening theme and one closing theme. The opening theme is "d.m.c." by rungran, and the closing theme is "I'll be your home" by Rin Oikawa. The original soundtrack for the episodes was released by Media Factory on August 18, 2007.[2][10]

Six DVD compilations have been released by Media Factory, each containing two episodes of the anime, with the latest one released on November 22, 2007.[2] A special edition of the first compilation is packaged with Devil May Cry 4.[2] An original soundtrack and a drama CD centered around Dante's ally Trish have also been released. A blu-ray disc was released on July 27, 2009.[11]

Currently, this version of Devil May Cry Abridged is one of the few series to finish the anime it was based on. However, because Devil May Cry is also a game, SonOfSparda13 continued the series using footage from the games, starting with Devil May Cry 3, because its time-line occurs before all the other games. Upon completing Devil May Cry 3, SonOfSparda13 continued on to abridge Devil May Cry 4, using one episode of this series to tell the story from DMC1 in the form of a flashback.

After a lackluster premiere, Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online returns for another episode featuring its adorable new heroine LLENN. Thankfully, for this one, she’s not on the backburner and actually takes her rightful role as the series’ protagonist.

In this episode, we see more of LLENN and her real-world identity Karen, be developed. Karen is a college student from Hokkaido who just moved to Tokyo. She not only struggles with being socially awkward, but she’s also not to hip on who she is either. She’s too tall, she’s too timid. End of the day, Karen is looking for a place to belong, and that’s where the VR world comes into play. Her friend Miyu introduces her to ALfheim Online, but in the end, the random character generator just isn’t enough to satisfy her needs for a petite character.

We finally see LLENN take the spotlight that she rightfully deserves in this episode. She uses her wits and shows that thirst to become a stronger player. Her first PVP ambush in the desert is a good demonstration of what she learned from the borderline overly-sexualized tutorial bot and her instincts. Unlike in the first episode, this is LLENN taking the reins and fighting to survive. Here, she is not a scared little girl going through the motions as she follows a friend–she’s a battle-hardened survivor. This firefight she engages in labels her as an infamous player killer and earns the nickname “Pink Devil.”

The rest of the GGO community avoids LLENN, but Pitohui approaches LLENN. Pitohui admires LLENN’s natural talent and doesn’t infantilize her, unlike several background characters The dynamic between these two is similar to M and LLENN’s from the first episode too, but Pitohui seems to be a little more entrancing. She’s mysterious and elegant, and sexy in a way that LLENN is not. Where LLENN is cute and feminine, Pitohui is masculine and strong. They seem to be a good contrast to each other as characters, though Pitohui may have some ulterior motives behind befriending her, which could make their relationship even more interesting later. I’m genuinely curious to see how LLENN–and her real world counterpart–will grow throughout the next few episodes as they enter the Squad Jam.
